Hopper Filler

Colors for Plastics is seeking 1st shift, 2nd shift, and 3rd Shift help in Elk Grove Village, Illinois!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lift 50 lb. and roll 175 lb. drums across floor onto skids or lift platform.
  • Fill hoppers for multiple machines.
    Assist batchers and operators in keeping production lines running.
  • Cleaning steel drums and other containers for batches.
  • Maintain clean and organized workspace.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Good math Skills (cross multiplication; pounds / grams conversions).
  • Normal to good color vision.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish.
  • Effectively communicate verbal and written.
  • Ability to work occasional overtime, Saturdays when needed.

Machine Operator

Colors for Plastics is seeking 2nd shift help in Elk Grove Village, Illinois!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Run twin and single screw extrusion machines.
  • Ensure production is running within specification.
  • Lift 50 lb. and roll 175 lb. drums across floor onto skids or lift platform.
  • Maintain clean and organized workspace.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Good math Skills (cross multiplication; pounds / grams conversions).
  • Normal to good color vision.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish.
  • Effectively communicate verbal and written.
  • Ability to work occasional overtime, Saturdays when needed.

Mixer/High Intensity Mixer

Colors for Plastics is seeking 2nd shift help in Elk Grove Village, Illinois!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Run small micros and high intensity mixers.
  • Ensure production is running within specification.
  • Lift 50 lb. and roll 175 lb. drums across floor onto skids or lift platform.
  • Maintain clean and organized workspace.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Good math Skills (cross multiplication; pounds / grams conversions).
  • Normal to good color vision.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish.
  • Effectively communicate verbal and written.
  • Ability to work occasional overtime, Saturdays when needed.
